Conditions of learning change from year to year, and vary from person to person. Your conditions of learning are very different from my conditions of learning when I was embarking on my college education, oh so long ago. In my case, I had not experienced, for instance, anything like the Covid pandemic that you experienced in high school. So it behooves me to try to appreciate what it feels like to be a college student in 2024, and what it feels like in each of your individual cases — since each of you has varying priorities, pressures, backgrounds, and senses of the world around you. So, please write up your sense of the conditions of learning from your perspective, whatever they may be. Above I give the example of the Covid pandemic, and in class I will give three of many examples from my perspective.
